Can I change the hotkey?
Yes. You can change the hotkey anytime from the Voibe dashboard. Just click the hotkey setting and pick a new one.
Does this work offline?
Yes. Voibe runs entirely on your Mac. No internet required for dictation.
How accurate is the transcription?
Voibe uses OpenAI’s latest Whisper models for fast, accurate transcription. It handles natural speech, accents, and even technical terms well.
Is my data getting shared?
No, unless you choose to share. By default, only basic usage stats are sent (like word count & minutes used). If you enable data sharing, anonymized audio and text snippets are sent to help us improve Voibe.
Can I use Voibe in any app?
Yes. Voibe works with any Mac app. Cursor, Notion, ChatGPT, Slack, Browser and more.
What Mac versions are supported?
macOS 13 (Ventura) or later on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3). Intel Macs are not supported.
What happens after early access ends?
