Smart Formatting

Voibe strips out verbal tics that creep into natural speech — filler words like "um", "uh", "like", and "you know"; hedge words like "basically", "literally", and "kind of"; repeated words and stutters; and false starts where you correct yourself mid-sentence. The output reads as if you said it cleanly the first time.

Voibe listens to the rhythm and meaning of your speech and adds punctuation automatically — full stops between sentences, commas in lists, question marks for questions, exclamation marks for emphasis, colons before enumerations, and semicolons where appropriate. You never need to say "period" or "comma" unless you want to.

Voibe fixes capitalisation across your text — sentence beginnings, proper nouns like names and places, product names, acronyms like CEO and API, and even corrects messy casing artefacts from the speech recognition layer. You can also force all caps by saying "all caps" before the word or phrase.

Voibe converts spoken numbers, dates, and times into their written form automatically. No commands needed — just speak naturally.

Spoken currency, percentages, and measurement units are converted into their standard written symbols automatically.

Voibe assembles spoken web addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and social handles into their proper format. Speak each part naturally — "at", "dot", "slash", "colon" — and Voibe pieces it together.

Voibe can detect when you're listing items in natural speech and automatically format them as bullet points or numbered steps — without you saying "bullet point" or "numbered list item". It picks up on patterns like "there are three things", "first… then… then…", or any natural enumeration.

For explicit control, you can speak punctuation marks by name. Voibe recognises these commands and inserts the corresponding symbol. This works alongside auto punctuation — use it when you want a specific mark in a specific place.

Control the layout of your text by speaking structural commands. These let you dictate emails, notes, and structured documents without touching the keyboard.

Dictate bullet points and numbered lists by speaking the list markers directly. Combine with "new line" to separate items.
