Managing your license

Voibe deliberately doesn't have a website-side dashboard. Your account lives in the Mac app and your billing lives at LemonSqueezy. This page tells you which one to use for what.

Getting to the LemonSqueezy customer portal

Voibe doesn't host a billing dashboard of its own β€” it would be one more password to remember for nothing extra. To manage your subscription:

  1. 1. Open your inbox and search for LemonSqueezy or Voibe receipt.
  2. 2. Open any recent receipt or subscription email.
  3. 3. Click the Manage subscription link at the bottom.
  4. 4. The customer portal opens with your subscription. From here you can update card, switch plan, or cancel.

Common tasks

Update payment method

LemonSqueezy customer portal › Update payment method. New card is used on the next renewal.

Cancel a subscription

LemonSqueezy customer portal › Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of your current billing period β€” there's no immediate cutoff. After that, Voibe drops back to the Free tier (300 words/day).

Switch Monthly ↔ Annual

LemonSqueezy customer portal › Change plan. Proration is handled by LemonSqueezy automatically.

Switch Mac

Log out of Voibe on the Mac you're leaving (Voibe menu bar › Show DashboardAccountLogout), then sign in on the new Mac with the same email. See Using Voibe on Multiple Macs.

Transfer license to a different email

Email hi@getvoibe.com from the original purchase email and tell us the new address. We move it manually so the wrong person doesn't end up with your subscription.

Get an invoice

Every charge generates a tax invoice that LemonSqueezy emails you immediately. To re-download an old one, open any receipt and use the Download invoice link in the customer portal.

If you have a Lifetime license

Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there's nothing to renew, cancel, or update payment for. The license is permanently linked to the email you used at checkout. To change which Mac it's active on, sign out and sign in elsewhere β€” see Using Voibe on Multiple Macs.

To transfer Lifetime to a new email or to a new owner (e.g., gifting it on), email hi@getvoibe.com.


Subscription troubleshooting

  • "I upgraded but the app still shows the old plan." Open Voibe › Show Dashboard › Account › Logout, then sign back in. This forces a refresh of subscription state.
  • "I can't find any LemonSqueezy email." Check spam, then forward your bank statement entry showing LEMSQZY* VOIBE to hi@getvoibe.com. We'll re-link it.
  • "I bought via the wrong email." Email us β€” we move the license to the right address. Quick fix.
