Otter's policy says it trains on de-identified audio and transcripts. We found no opt-out.

Questions about switching from Otter

Does the switch offer cover Otter?

Yes. A paid Otter Pro, Business or Enterprise plan, billed monthly or yearly, qualifies. Cancel it, email the cancellation screenshot and your Voibe account email to hi@getvoibe.com, and Voibe adds Voibe Work free for the time you had left plus one bonus month, up to 12 months.

Otter doesn't refund. Is it worth cancelling mid-year?

Yes, that's the case the offer is built for. Otter subscriptions are non-refundable, so cancelling early normally wastes the months you paid for. Voibe covers that time with free Voibe Work, rounded up to whole months, plus a bonus month, up to 12 months.

Can I try Voibe Work before I cancel Otter?

Yes. Every new Voibe account starts with 7 days of every Voibe Work feature, with no credit card. Run it alongside Otter on your next few calls, then cancel and send us the screenshot.

Does Voibe Work send a bot to my meetings?

No. Voibe Work captures the meeting from your Mac or Windows PC in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles or any other meeting app, and records in-person meetings through your computer's microphone. When a recording starts, Voibe reminds you to tell everyone you're taking notes.

How does Voibe Work's price compare with Otter?

Voibe Work is $149 a year, $90.88 (37.9%) less than Otter Business ($239.88), the Otter plan that also allows 4-hour meetings. It includes dictation in any app, which Otter doesn't.
