Why people switch from Superwhisper

Recordings saved by default

Superwhisper keeps audio of your dictation on disk unless you change it. Voibe never saves it.

Modes, models and keys

Superwhisper has you pick modes and models. Voibe has one choice: on-device or cloud.

$249.99 for lifetime

Voibe Dictation lifetime is $199, $50.99 less. Superwhisper's yearly plan is cheaper, though.

Questions about switching from Superwhisper

Does the switch offer cover Superwhisper?

Yes. A paid Superwhisper Pro subscription, monthly or yearly, gets Voibe Work free for the time you had left plus one bonus month, up to 12 months: cancel it and email the cancellation screenshot and your Voibe account email to hi@getvoibe.com. A Superwhisper lifetime licence gets one bonus month: send the receipt, no cancelling needed.

Can I try Voibe before I switch?

Yes. Every new Voibe account starts with 7 days of every Voibe Work feature, with no credit card. Try it alongside Superwhisper, then send us your screenshot or receipt.

Is Voibe as private as Superwhisper's local mode?

On an Apple Silicon Mac, Voibe's on-device mode also transcribes locally with nothing leaving the Mac, and it never saves your audio to disk, which Superwhisper does by default. On Windows and Intel Macs, Voibe uses its zero-retention cloud, where audio is deleted the moment transcription completes and never used to train AI.

How does Voibe's lifetime price compare?

Voibe Dictation lifetime is $199 against $249.99 for Superwhisper's lifetime licence, $50.99 (20.4%) less. Voibe Work, which adds no-bot meeting notes, is $149 a year or $399 once.

Does Voibe need an API key?

No. You never create an AI-vendor account, paste an API key or pick a model. The only choice is on-device or Voibe's zero-retention cloud.
