Krisp has no free plan anymore. You get a 7-day trial, then nothing.
Its Terms of Use say all access ends when the trial does. That includes the noise filter on your mic.
- Free Trial: $0 for 7 days, no credit card.
- Core: $16 a month, or $8 a month billed annually ($96 a year).
- Advanced: $30 a month, or $15 a month billed annually ($180 a year).
- Enterprise: custom pricing. It's the only plan with a BAA, and only for teams with 100+ seats.
Every plan pays for two jobs. Krisp cancels noise on your mic and takes meeting notes with no bot in the call.
There's no cheaper noise-only plan.
Why the bill is worth a second look
Small subscriptions like this add up. Zylo's 2026 SaaS Management Index (January 29, 2026) found AI-native app spend up 108%.
Much of it arrives on employee credit cards and expense reports. Krisp is easy to expense and hard to unwind, because its fees are non-refundable.
Four rules to know before you pay
I read Krisp's pricing page, Terms of Use, privacy policy and help center on November 2, 2026.
- All fees are non-refundable, including a renewal you forgot to cancel.
- Storage is capped per seat: 10 GB on Core, 60 GB on Advanced. When it's full, new recordings stop saving.
- You can't switch a yearly plan to monthly from your account.
- The BAA needs 100 seats, so a small clinic can't get one.
Where Voibe Work lands
Krisp Core is cheaper than Voibe Work. Core is $96 a year.
Voibe Work, the meeting-notes plan of Voibe (the app we build), is $149. That's $53 more, or 55.2% ($53 ÷ $96).
- Against Advanced ($180 a year), Voibe Work is $31 (17.2%) less.
- Voibe Work includes dictation, which Krisp doesn't sell. Krisp Core plus Wispr Flow Pro is $240 a year, and Voibe Work is $91 (37.9%) less.
- Voibe Work saves your notes on your computer, not on its servers. Krisp keeps recordings and notes in its US cloud until you delete them.
- Voibe doesn't cancel noise. If clean audio is the job, Krisp still does it, and your meeting app may too.

How I checked
- I read krisp.ai/pricing and its compare table on November 2, 2026.
- Same day: the Terms of Use (updated March 4, 2026) and the privacy policy (September 28, 2026).
- Plus 17 help-center articles.
- I haven't used Krisp hands-on. Every Krisp fact here comes from its own pages, app-store listings or the reviews I link.
- Costs are per seat over one, three and five years.
- I also priced a team of 10, and the plan plus a dictation app.
- Every percentage is the difference divided by the Krisp price.
- Voibe Work prices are from getvoibe.com/pricing. Other notetakers' prices come from our own pricing breakdowns (October 2026).

How Much Is Krisp? Every Plan and Price (2026)

Krisp sells four meeting plans. These are US list prices per user, from Krisp's pricing page on November 2, 2026.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Per seat per year (annual) | Storage per seat | Accent conversion | Integrations |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Trial | $0 for 7 days | n/a | n/a | n/a | Limited | Trial of all premium features |
| Core | $16/seat/mo | $8/seat/mo | $96 | 10 GB | 1 hr a day | Slack, Notion, Zapier, Teams, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Affinity, MCP, API |
| Advanced | $30/seat/mo | $15/seat/mo | $180 | 60 GB | 4 hrs a day for your voice; unlimited for others | Core's, plus Salesforce and ConnectWise |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Not published | Unlimited | Custom | Advanced's, plus SSO/SCIM |
Every paid plan lists unlimited transcription, noise cancellation and AI summaries. There are no minute caps and no meeting caps.
Annual or monthly?
The pricing toggle promises 50% off for annual billing, and the maths is exact.
- Core: $192 a year billed monthly, $96 billed annually
- Advanced: $360 a year billed monthly, $180 billed annually
Few notetakers discount annual billing this much. It also means a month-to-month seat costs double.
What the money covers
- Two jobs: noise cancellation, plus an AI note taker that records, transcribes and summarizes.
- No bot by default. Krisp works as a virtual microphone and speaker.
- An optional Krisp Bot can join Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, from Core up.
- Transcripts and summaries in 16+ languages, per the pricing page. The help center lists 16.
- Apps for Mac (macOS 14 or later), Windows 10 or 11, iPhone and Android, plus a Chrome extension.
- The phone app has no noise cancellation yet, per Krisp's help center.
No dictation in the lineup
Krisp's pricing page and help center list no dictation or voice-typing feature. If you also write by voice, you'll pay for a second app.
I add one to the cost tables below.
Is Krisp Free? The 7-Day Trial, Then Nothing

No. Krisp has no free plan. The pricing page offers a $0 trial for 7 days, with no credit card required.
What the trial includes
You get every paid feature for a week. The trial card lists:
- Unlimited transcription
- Unlimited noise cancellation
- Unlimited audio and video recording
- Unlimited AI notes and action items
- Limited AI accent conversion and understanding
What happens on day 8
Unless you buy a plan, all access to Krisp ends. Its Terms of Use (last updated March 4, 2026) spell this out.
- Your notes stay reachable for 90 days, but only so you can export them.
- After that, Krisp may delete your account and your content.
- Noise cancellation stops too. There's no free tier to fall back to.
The free tier used to exist
Users say Krisp offered 60 free minutes of noise cancellation a day until around December 2025. I found no announcement from Krisp.
A Capterra reviewer called the change "a bait-and-switch" in March 2026. They wrote that there's now no way to try the product without paying.
The one free leftover
Krisp's Chrome extension offers free AI accent conversion for YouTube videos, no card needed. It doesn't take meeting notes for free.
How that compares with Voibe
- Voibe has no free plan for meeting notes either.
- Voibe Free ($0 forever) covers dictation only, with 2,000 cloud words a week on one device.
- Voibe Work's 7-day trial needs no credit card and never charges you automatically.
- When it ends, you move to Voibe Free and keep dictating.
What Each Paid Tier Adds: Core, Advanced and Enterprise
Each step up adds one main thing:
- Core: the product itself, notes plus noise.
- Advanced: CRM links and admin controls.
- Enterprise: compliance and data control, for large teams.
Core: notes plus noise ($96 a year)
Core is $16 a month, or $8 a month billed annually. Krisp pitches it at individuals and small teams.
- Unlimited bot-free AI note taker, with transcription, recording and AI notes
- In-person meeting notes and an outbound phone call recorder
- Unlimited noise cancellation
- MCP integration for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, plus webhooks and integrations
- 1 hour a day of accent conversion, and AI Chat
- 10 GB of storage per seat
Advanced: CRM and admin controls ($180 a year)
Advanced is $30 a month, or $15 billed annually. The pricing page tags it as the most popular plan.
- Salesforce and ConnectWise integrations
- Advanced admin controls, meeting link sharing and note-taking mode enforcement
- A manager view, company deal grouping, trimming and commenting
- Accent conversion for your own voice up to 4 hours a day, unlimited for listening
- 60 GB of storage per seat
That's $84 a year more than Core annual, an 87.5% jump ($84 ÷ $96). I'd stay on Core unless you use Salesforce, ConnectWise or the admin controls.
Enterprise: SSO, data control and the BAA (custom)
Enterprise has no published price. Krisp aims it at org-wide rollouts and security teams.
- SSO and SCIM, plus access to Krisp's SOC 2 report
- A choice of data center location
- Private, on-device transcription and recordings
- BAA signing, only for teams with 100+ seats
- Unlimited storage and a dedicated account manager
For scale, 100 seats of Advanced list at $18,000 a year. Krisp doesn't publish what Enterprise adds on top.
The same on every paid plan
- Unlimited transcription, noise cancellation and AI summaries
- The optional Krisp Bot for Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams
- Up to 4 hours per recording, per Krisp's help center
You Pay for Two Jobs: Noise Cancellation Plus Meeting Notes
Most notetakers do one job. Krisp does two and charges for both together.
Its pricing FAQ says there's no separate noise-only plan. You can turn off the Meeting Assistant if you only want clean audio.
What you're paying for
- If you mostly want clean audio, you pay the full Core price. The notes come along anyway.
- If you mostly want notes, you're paying for a noise filter your meeting app may already have.
- If you want both, $96 a year is a fair bundle.
Your meeting app may already handle the noise
- Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet all have noise suppression built in.
- I checked their support pages on October 28, 2026.
- Teams says its version is "turned on by default".
Krisp works across every app at once and cleans other people's noise too. You don't need it to get some noise removal, though.
The details are in our Krisp alternatives guide.
Where Voibe fits
Voibe has no noise cancellation. It won't clean up your mic for the people on the other end.
Voibe Work takes meeting notes and includes dictation. If noise is why you bought Krisp, I wouldn't switch.
Krisp's Hidden Costs: Storage Caps, No Refunds and a 100-Seat BAA
Krisp has no minute meter or AI-credit system like Fireflies' AI credits. Its extra costs sit in storage and in the rules.
Reading its pages, I count six.
1. No free plan to fall back to
After the 7-day trial, all access ends. You get 90 days to export, then your content may be deleted.
2. No refunds, including renewals
The Terms say "All fees are non-refundable". A renewal you forgot to cancel is charged, with no refund.
- Switching from Advanced to Core waits for your next billing cycle.
- Krisp's help center says you get no refund for the unused part of the old plan.
3. Storage caps per seat
Storage is set per seat: 10 GB on Core, 60 GB on Advanced. It isn't pooled across your team.
- When it fills, new recordings can't be saved until an admin buys more.
- Add-ons run from 20 GB up to 2 TB per seat. Prices show in the app, not on the pricing page.
- Storage add-ons are non-refundable.
- Deleted meetings still count while they sit in Trash for 30 days.
Krisp's own pages disagree on the top size. The compare table says Advanced add-ons go up to 5TB.
The help center says 2 TB. Ask Krisp before you buy.
4. A yearly plan can't become monthly
Monthly to yearly is one click. Krisp's help center says the reverse isn't possible from your account yet.
To go back, you cancel, wait out the year, then resubscribe.
5. The BAA needs Enterprise and 100 seats
The pricing page offers BAA signing only for teams with 100+ seats. A solo therapist or a five-person practice can't sign one.
Krisp's security page still names an older Business tier for the BAA. The pricing page is the current offer.
6. Every user is a seat
Prices are per user. For a team of 10:
- Core: $960 a year billed annually (10 × $96), or $1,920 billed monthly (10 × $192)
- Advanced: $1,800 a year billed annually (10 × $180), or $3,600 billed monthly
- Voibe Work: $1,490 a year for ten seats. That's $530 (55.2%) more than Core and $310 (17.2%) less than Advanced.
Krisp offers volume discounts for more than 50 members. The rate isn't published.
And one cost that isn't Krisp's
Krisp has no dictation, so pairing it with a dictation app adds that app's price.
Krisp Core ($96) plus Wispr Flow Pro ($144) comes to $240 a year.
Where Your Meetings Go on Each Krisp Plan
Paying Krisp more changes storage, admin controls and the BAA. Below Enterprise, your meetings go to the same place.
| Question | Krisp Core | Krisp Advanced | Krisp Enterprise | Voibe Work |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Does a bot join? | No by default; optional Krisp Bot for Zoom, Meet and Teams | Same | No bot (Mac and Windows) | |
| Where recordings and notes live | Krisp's cloud, on AWS in the US | Adds a choice of data center, plus private on-device transcription and recordings | On your computer, not Voibe's servers | |
| Retention | Kept until you tell Krisp to delete them, per the privacy policy | Audio deleted as soon as processing completes | ||
| Trains AI on your meetings? | No: "Your meeting data is never used to train Krisp's AI models." | Never | ||
| Attestations | Krisp states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and PCI DSS | Same, plus SOC 2 report access, HIPAA and a BAA at 100+ seats | None claimed; BAA available on request | |
Sources: Krisp's pricing page, privacy policy (September 28, 2026) and security page, checked November 2, 2026. Voibe figures are from getvoibe.com/pricing.

Is Krisp Worth It? The 1-, 3- and 5-Year Cost
I'd call Krisp Core worth $96 a year if three things are true:
- You'll use both jobs: noise cancellation and meeting notes.
- Your recordings fit in 10 GB, or you mostly keep transcripts.
- Notes in Krisp's US cloud are fine for your calls.
Advanced earns its $180 if your team lives in Salesforce or ConnectWise, or needs admin enforcement.
Enterprise is for organizations of 100+ seats that need the BAA.
What users say
- iPhone app: 4.73 out of 5 on the App Store from 271 ratings
- Android app: 3.95 out of 5 on Google Play from 388 ratings
- Chrome extension: 4.0 out of 5 on the Chrome Web Store from 35 ratings, with 40,000 users
All checked November 2, 2026. There's no Mac App Store rating, since the desktop app isn't listed there.
What each plan costs over 1, 3 and 5 years
| Plan | 1 year | 3 years | 5 years | vs Voibe Work lifetime ($399) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Krisp Core (annual) | $96 | $288 | $480 | Lifetime costs $111 more over 3 years; $81 (16.9%) less over 5 |
| Krisp Advanced (annual) | $180 | $540 | $900 | Lifetime is $141 (26.1%) less over 3 years |
| Krisp Core (monthly) | $192 | $576 | $960 | Lifetime is $177 (30.7%) less over 3 years |
| Krisp Core + Wispr Flow Pro | $240 | $720 | $1,200 | Lifetime is $321 (44.6%) less over 3 years |
| Krisp Advanced (monthly) | $360 | $1,080 | $1,800 | Lifetime is $681 (63.1%) less over 3 years |
| Voibe Work (annual) | $149 | $447 | $745 | Lifetime is $48 less than 3 annual payments |
Krisp has no lifetime plan, so its cost keeps climbing at the yearly rate.
- Voibe Work's $399 lifetime seat breaks even against Krisp Core annual. That takes about 4.2 years ($399 ÷ $96).
- Against Advanced annual, it breaks even in about 2.2 years ($399 ÷ $180).
Where Krisp is the better buy
- Lowest price for bot-free notes: Core at $96 is $53 a year below Voibe Work.
- You need noise cancellation. Voibe doesn't do it.
- You work from your phone. Krisp has iPhone and Android apps for in-person meetings, and Voibe has no phone app.
- You sometimes want a bot. Krisp's optional bot can record a call you can't join.
- Your team syncs notes to a CRM: HubSpot and Pipedrive on Core, Salesforce on Advanced.
- You want recordings to replay. Krisp keeps audio and video, while Voibe Work deletes the audio after processing.
Krisp Refunds and Cancelling: How to Get Out Cleanly
Krisp doesn't give refunds. Its Terms of Use (March 4, 2026) and help center set these rules:
- All fees are non-refundable unless the agreement says otherwise.
- Plans renew automatically. Cancel before the renewal date, or the charge is non-refundable.
- One exception: you get a pro-rated refund if you end the contract over a material breach. That applies when Krisp doesn't fix it within 30 days.
- Disputes go to binding arbitration with JAMS, with a class-action waiver. You can opt out by email within 30 days of first use.
How to cancel
- Sign in to your Krisp dashboard.
- Go to Settings, then Billing, then Plan Details.
- Click Manage Subscription, then Downgrade under your plan.
Your plan runs to the end of the billing cycle, then the account is downgraded. Krisp's help center says you might be offered a coupon code on the way out.
Before you cancel
- Export what you want to keep. Recordings download from each meeting's menu.
- Delete the rest, and empty the Trash. Krisp keeps recordings and notes until you delete them.
- Switch your mic and speakers back. Krisp sits in your meeting app as a virtual device.
- Disconnect the calendar and any MCP connection you set up in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Discounts and deals
- Annual billing: exactly 50% off
- Volume discounts for more than 50 members, rate not published
- Retention coupons, sometimes, when you downgrade
- No student, nonprofit or lifetime deals on the pricing page
I'd start monthly at $16. Switch to annual once you're sure, since monthly to yearly is allowed and the reverse isn't.
Krisp vs Voibe Work: What a Year Costs

On notes alone, Krisp Core is cheaper. It's $96 a year against Voibe Work's $149.
Voibe Work costs $53 (55.2%) more than Core. Against Advanced, it costs $31 (17.2%) less.
| Krisp setup | Per year | Voibe Work ($149) is |
|---|---|---|
| Core, annual | $96 | $53 (55.2%) more |
| Core, monthly × 12 | $192 | $43 (22.4%) less |
| Advanced, annual | $180 | $31 (17.2%) less |
| Core annual + Wispr Flow Pro | $240 | $91 (37.9%) less |
| Advanced annual + Wispr Flow Pro | $324 | $175 (54.0%) less |
| Advanced, monthly × 12 | $360 | $211 (58.6%) less |
| Team of 10 on Core, annual | $960 | Ten Voibe Work seats ($1,490): $530 (55.2%) more |
| Team of 10 on Advanced, annual | $1,800 | Ten Voibe Work seats ($1,490): $310 (17.2%) less |
Once you add dictation, Voibe Work is cheaper than every Krisp setup.
Month to month, Voibe Work's $19 is $3 (18.8%) more than Core's $16. It's $11 (36.7%) less than Advanced's $30.
The dictation bundle
Krisp covers meetings and noise, not dictation. If you also write by voice, you need a second app.
- Krisp Core ($96) plus Wispr Flow Pro ($144): $240 a year
- Voibe Work, with Voibe Dictation on Mac and Windows: $149 a year, which is $91 (37.9%) less
Prefer Otter or Notta for notes? Their prices are in our Otter pricing and Notta pricing breakdowns.
What you get for the extra $53
- No vendor copy of your notes. The transcript and summary are saved on your computer, not on Voibe's servers. They're never used to train AI.
- Open-source models on zero-retention cloud providers process the audio. It's deleted as soon as processing completes.
- No storage cap to manage, since notes live on your own disk.
- Dictation included, with Smart Formatting, custom vocabulary and Developer Mode.
- BAA available on request, without 100 seats.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Krisp's fees are non-refundable.
What Voibe Work includes
- No bot. It captures from your Mac or Windows PC.
- It works in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles or any other meeting app.
- In-person meetings, recorded through your Mac or PC's mic.
- Speaker labels with a time next to every line. Rename a speaker and the summary updates.
- Templates for each type of meeting, plus your own custom templates.
- Chat with your meetings, on the same zero-retention cloud, with nothing you ask stored.
- Meeting MCP, to ask ChatGPT and Claude about all your meetings.
- One-click copy and PDF export. Up to 4 hours per meeting, unlimited meetings.
Meeting notes need an internet connection. Voibe reminds you to tell everyone you're taking notes when recording starts.
Following recording-consent rules is up to you. Our AI notetaker consent laws guide covers each state.
What Voibe Work doesn't have
Krisp does more in places:
- Noise cancellation and accent conversion
- iPhone and Android apps
- An optional bot for calls you can't join
- CRM, Slack and Notion integrations
- Recordings you can replay
If those matter more than where your notes live, pick Krisp.
More on Voibe Work:
Which Krisp Plan Should You Pick?
Five questions, in order. Stop at the first answer that fits.
1. Do you only need clean audio?
- Yes → check your meeting app's built-in noise suppression first. If it isn't enough, Krisp Core ($96 a year) with the Meeting Assistant turned off.
- No, I want notes too → question 2.
2. Will a 7-day trial tell you enough?
- Yes → run the trial on real meetings, then start Core monthly ($16) before committing to a year.
- No, I need a free plan → see the free options in our Krisp alternatives.
3. Does your team need Salesforce, ConnectWise or admin enforcement?
- No → Krisp Core ($96 a year).
- Yes → Krisp Advanced ($180 a year, or $30 a month).
4. Do you need a BAA?
- Yes, and you have 100+ seats → Krisp Enterprise (custom price).
- Yes, but you're smaller → Krisp can't sign one. Voibe Work has a BAA available on request.
5. Should a vendor keep a copy of these meetings?
- Fine either way → stay with the Krisp plan above.
- No vendor copy, and dictation too → Voibe Work ($149 a year, $19 a month or $399 lifetime, Mac and Windows). Voibe reminds you to tell everyone you're taking notes; consent rules are yours to follow.

Free trial, storage and refunds
Is Krisp free?
No. Krisp has a 7-day free trial with no credit card, not a free plan. When it ends, all access stops, noise cancellation included.
You get 90 days to export your content. Users say the old free tier of 60 minutes a day ended around December 2025.
Does Krisp offer refunds?
No. Krisp's Terms of Use (March 4, 2026) make all fees non-refundable.
Missed renewals and storage add-ons count too. Start on monthly billing before you pay for a year.
What are Krisp's storage limits?
Core includes 10 GB per seat and Advanced 60 GB, not pooled across a team. When storage fills, new recordings can't be saved until an admin buys more.
Add-ons run from 20 GB up to 2 TB. Enterprise has unlimited storage, and each recording can run up to 4 hours.
Privacy, BAA and alternatives
Which Krisp plan includes a BAA or HIPAA?
Enterprise only. The pricing page lists BAA signing and HIPAA compliance under Enterprise, for teams with 100+ seats.
Smaller teams can't sign a BAA with Krisp. Voibe Work has a BAA available on request.
Does Krisp train AI on my meetings?
No. Krisp's pricing FAQ says "Your meeting data is never used to train Krisp's AI models."
Recordings and notes stay in Krisp's US cloud until you delete them. More in our Is Krisp safe? guide.

Where can I compare more meeting note takers?
Start with Krisp alternatives. AI meeting note taker pricing lists every notetaker's plans side by side.
Final Verdict: Is Krisp's Pricing Fair in 2026?
Krisp's prices are fair for what it does. Core at $96 a year gets you bot-free notes and noise cancellation in one app.
That's cheaper than most notetakers charge for notes alone. The 50% annual discount is real, and the no-training promise is clearly worded.
What to watch for
- No free plan, just 7 days.
- No refunds, even if you cancel early in a yearly plan.
- Storage caps of 10 GB or 60 GB per seat.
- A BAA only for teams of 100+ seats.
- On every plan below Enterprise, recordings and notes sit in Krisp's US cloud until you delete them.
When I'd pick Voibe Work instead
If noise cancellation is the main job, stay with Krisp. Voibe doesn't do it.
If notes are the main job, Voibe Work costs $53 more than Core. For that you get:
- notes saved on your computer
- audio deleted after processing
- dictation included
- a BAA available on request, without 100 seats
No bot joins. Voibe reminds you to tell everyone you're taking notes; recording-consent rules are yours to follow.

Run the 7-day trial on real meetings, then start Core monthly ($16). Krisp's fees are non-refundable, and a yearly plan can't switch back to monthly.
